Monkey Shoulder

David Stewart, Malt Master of the Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries, has selected barrels from the 3 Dufftown (Speyside) based distilleries Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie for the composition of the Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey. Each with its own taste and identity, which merge into this special blended malt whisky. No grain whiskey has been added. The name Monkey Shoulder comes from the shoulder injuries that the distillery employees suffered from continuously turning the barley.
